The competition aims to fully challenge the virtuosity and artistic excellence of performers for piano, strings, winds, brass, voice, conducting, composition, and chamber music of all nationalities and countries.
We celebrate diversity and welcome performers from all backgrounds, cultures, and musical traditions.

The competition is divided into categories that reflect the age, level, experience, and candidates' performance styles.
We strive for musical excellence and provide a platform for performers to showcase their talent to a global audience.
Our purpose is to discover artists of outstanding personalities and provide awards that can help to launch international careers.

Our aim is to provide an opportunity for developing musicians worldwide to perform in a formal, challenging yet supportive atmosphere. The goal is to provide young musicians a forum to challenge themselves musically, and share their music.

01. Prodigy (Age 7 and younger)
Free choice of 1 or more pieces. Video duration: no longer than 7 minutes.

02. Junior (Age 8-10)
Free choice of 1 or more pieces. Video duration: no longer than 7 minutes.

03. Youth (Age 11-13)
Free choice of 1 or more pieces. Video duration: no longer than 10 minutes.
04. Young Artist (Age 14-17)
Free choice of 1 or more pieces. Video duration: no longer than 12 minutes.

05. Advanced (Age 18-22)
Free choice of 1 or more pieces. Video duration: no longer than 15 minutes.
06. Professional (No age limit)
Free choice of 1 or more pieces. Video duration: no longer than 20 minutes.

07. Baroque A (Under Age 17) / B (Over Age 17)
Free choice of 1 or more pieces written in the Baroque period. Video duration: no longer than 15 minutes.

08. Classical A (Under Age 17) / B (Over Age 17)
Free choice of 1 or more pieces written in the Classical period. Video duration: no longer than 15 minutes.

09. Romantic A (Under Age 17) / B (Over Age 17)
Free choice of 1 or more pieces written in the Romantic period. Video duration: no longer than 15 minutes.
10. Modern A (Under Age 17) / B (Over Age 17)
Free choice of 1 or more pieces written after the year 1900. Video duration: no longer than 15 minutes.

11. Own composition
Music composed by candidates themselves. Free choice of One work only for each application. Video or audio accepted.
*If multiple pieces are submitted in a single application, only the first work in order will be automatically taken into consideration.

12. Duo Performance
Open to all instrumental duos, or piano 4 hands. Video duration: no longer than 15 minutes, 1 or more pieces.

13. Chamber Group
Open to chamber group of 3-10 players. ​Video duration: no longer than 15 minutes, 1 or more pieces.
​
14. National Music
Open to traditional/national instruments/singing styles in different countries. Video duration: no longer than 15 minutes, 1 or more pieces.

15. Concerto
Free choice of 1 movement, or a whole concerto. Video duration: no longer than 30 minutes Concerto can be accompanied by orchestra/piano/audio.
​
16. Sonata
1 or 1 movement of a sonata. Video duration: no longer than 10 minutes.
​
17. Etude
Free choice of 1 Etude. Video duration: no longer than 10 minutes.
18. Musical theatre
Free choice of 1 or more pieces. Video duration: no longer than 10 minutes.

19. Film/Game music
Music composed for films, TV shows and video games. Free choice of One work only for each application. Video or audio accepted.
*If multiple pieces are submitted in a single application, only the first work in order will be automatically taken into consideration.

20. Orchestra
Open to conductors, composers and orchestra. Free choice of one orchestra work.

The competition age is determined by the candidate's age on the day of the application deadline.

To be able to compete you must fill out the application form in the corresponding section and pay the amount of 70 euros as participation fees.

We want to indicate in an act of transparency that the organization of this competition nor the jury receives any financial compensation. The associated cost is for the development and maintenance of the website and the payment of marketing services in Google Ads for the promotion of the contest and in music platforms.

The competition is held every month so if you don't feel ready currently you can do it in subsequent editions.
The competition has the character of helping the musician's progress and valuing his achievements step by step, so we encourage you to continue improving.

Q: What style of music is required for this competition?
A: For performers, all musical styles are welcome across different age categories.
However, for period-specific categories such as Baroque, Classical, and Romantic, only pieces relevant to those eras are eligible
For composers, all styles of composition are accepted.
Q: Can I use the same piece/video to apply for multiple categories?
Yes. You can submit the same piece or video across multiple categories, as long as it meets the specific requirements of each category.Maximun of 15 minutes.

Q: Can I have several pieces in one link? Can there be a gap between the pieces?
Yes, you can submit one link that contains several pieces, and pauses between them are permitted. This means if you wish to submit multiple short pieces, you may compile them into a single, longer video. Maximun of 15 minutes.

Q: Can I play more instruments in one video?
A: You can only play one musical instrument for each application. An additional musical instrument will need to be submitted as another application.

Q: How do I submit my video?
A: You can upload your video to Youtube, Vimeo, Youku, or any video platforms (as long as visitors can watch it), then submit the video link at the online application form. You can also submit the form first and leave the video link blank, send the link to us by email before the competition deadline.

Q: Can I use Audio background for accompaniment if I can't find an accompanist?
A:​ Yes, you can use the audio background music for accompaniment.
​
Q: As a composer, am I allowed to submit my work even if it's performed by others?
A: Yes, it is perfectly fine if your work is performed by other musicians. Submissions of soundtracks created with computer software are also accepted.

Q: Can I play a single movement of a sonata?
A. Yes, you can play one or more movements.
​​​
Q: Do I need to show my hand in the video?
A: Instrumentalists should have their hands and face visible in the video, whereas for singers, performer's face should be visible. Continuous focus on the candidate is not necessary, and changing camera angles is acceptable, as long as it is clear to the viewer that the candidate is the one performing. This rule does not apply to composers.​​
Q: As a conductor, am I limited to submitting only videos of me conducting an orchestra?
A: Not at all. You are welcome to submit videos of you conducting in various settings, including choirs, small ensembles, or chamber music groups. The key is to showcase your conducting abilities, regardless of the ensemble size or type.

Q: What are the key qualities and evaluation criteria that are valued in contestants?
1. Technique/Character/Rhythm/Maturity (Any of these applicable aspects): Depending on the candidate's specific major or instrument, evaluate the relevant aspects of the candidate's technique, maturity, musical character, and control of tempo and rhythm in their submissions.
2. Musicianship/Expressiveness/Presentation/Creativity (Any of these applicable aspects): Depending on the candidate's area of specialty, evaluate the relevant aspects of the candidate's musical interpretation skills, expressiveness, ability to engage and captivate the audience, and the creativity in their submissions.

PRIZES
Diplomas will be sent to the prizewinners by e-mail after the competition.

LAUREATE FIRST PRIZE – is to be awarded to the competitor who earns at least 93/100 points.
​
LAUREATE SECOND PRIZE – is to be awarded to the competitor who earns at least 86/100 points
​
LAUREATE THIRD PRIZE – is to be awarded to the competitor who earns at least 79/100 points.
​
L.V.BEETHOVEN Special Prize – It will be awarded to the contestant who wins in each category if they submit a work by L.V.Beethoven to the competition.

Number of awards (prizes) is not limited in each category.

The awards in this competition are purely motivational and as an appreciation of the study and work
carried out in music, so we invite participants to give the best version of themselves and the pieces they perform.

2.- Select the category in which you enter the contest depending on your age.
3.- If you apply for two or more categories, you must fill out the application as many times as you participate in the categories.
4. - Describe the work you will perform in the video title as: Composer and work, in case of any movement of a sonata please indicate.
5. - If you perform a work composed in XXI century take the consideration that jury may request a copy of the score to review.
6. - One link in YOUTUBE or VIMEO are allowed. They must be public. Please check the URL´s before submitting.
7.- If you are prizewinner in the competition your picture will be displayed in this website as promotion for your career.
